Apple is said to have filed a patent application for an invention relating to the Apple Watch strap. The material of their connected watch could change color depending on the clothes of the wearer. This visual variation could also be leveraged to alert the watch owner. The invention is called “Watch Band With Adjustable Color”and testifies to the growing efforts of the Cupertino company to use the entire surface of its devices to communicate information to their owners.
