Apple WWDC 2022: the conference could take place on June 7 in front of the public

After several virtual conferences because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Apple could well resume Keynotes with the public, starting with the next WWDC which should be held in June.

For several years now, Apple has been forced to present its new products on video in the form of a virtual conference, like its Keynote earlier this month dedicated to the iPhone SE 5G, the new iPad Air M1, the Mac Studio and the Studio Display. Although this format is very popular with some viewers, who enjoy lectures with elaborate video effects and a more concise formatsome are nostalgic for face-to-face events.

They could also soon be able to attend Apple’s Keynotes again, if we are to believe Jon Prosser. According to information from the famous leaker, relayed by Phonearena, Apple’s next WWDC 2022 should welcome the public again, as was the case with conferences before the COVID-19 pandemic. We should therefore find Tim Cook and other Apple speakers on stage to present all the new features of the ecosystem.

The annual developer conference would be held with the public

According to Jon Prosser, the annual conference for developers WWDC 2022 could take place on June 6almost on the same date as last year’s conference which was held on June 7, 2021. During the event, Apple is expected to unveil new versions of its operating systems iOS 16, iPadOS 16, watchOS9, tvOS 16 and macOS 13.

Apple could also take advantage of its conference to unveil a new super-powerful Mac Pro computer, since it would be even more efficient than the Mac Studio. It is not impossible that the American giant uses two M1 Ultra chips in its computer, which would make it the most powerful device in its category.

At last, we hope that Apple will discuss its plans for a mixed reality headset, which would combine virtual reality and augmented reality technologies. Apple should not unveil a new device or give a price, but could simply confirm that it is working on such a project.
