Bixby: Samsung deploys its voice assistant on WIndows 10
Bixby is now available on the Microsoft Store for all devices running Windows 10. The voice assistant allows you to perform many actions, such as launching applications or searching for files. Samsung advises to use it from a Galaxy Book, however, as it is not optimized for devices from other manufacturers.
We thought Bixby near the end, but Samsung obviously has some plans for it. Indeed, the Korean firm would be working on a new voice assistant named Sam, according to several sources. It could even make the transition to Google Assistant, according to others. However, a new twist comes to silence the bad tongues.
Today, Bixby is coming to Windows 10. The application is indeed available on the Microsoft Store. The wizard can perform a number of tasks, ranging from display the weather forecast to control other devices registered in SmartThings. In addition, no need for a Samsung device to install Bixby, any machine running on Windows will do.

On the other hand, Samsung specifies that the application is above all optimized for Galaxy Book. Apart from these, it is not impossible that users face certain restrictions from another manufacturer. The Korean firm, however, does not specify which ones. We imagine that some commands only apply to Galaxy Book, and that it will not be possible to take full advantage of the assistant’s capabilities.

All Galaxy released after May 2021 are compatible with the Bixby application for Windows 10. This therefore concerns Galaxy Book Pro 360, Galaxy Book Pro, Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Odyssey, Galaxy Book Go and Galaxy Book Go 5 G. You must at least be on version 21 h 1 of the operating system to install it.
