So, what is this test version of the mobile port of the famous FPS worth? We give you our first impressions of the gameplay and the content of the game in this article. Finally, we will tell you where and how to download battlefield mobile to play immediately.
Getting started with the Battlefield Mobile Alpha
It was on TapTap with Android that the game from EA and Industrial Toys appeared on the occasion of the launch of a new Battlefield Mobile alpha phase. So we rushed to download it and tested it for you.
After several games, this Battlefield Mobile review turns out to be quite convincing. The gameplay is effective and the sensations are present. We find all the essence of the license with theuse of vehicles (cars, quads, tanks) on vast maps, but also the destruction of buildingsmuch rarer on mobile.
Criticized during the first alpha phase of Battlefield Mobile, the graphical rendering has been reworked. Indeed, the developers claimed that they were actively working on it to offer graphics at the height of the leaders of the genre on mobile for the release of the game.
As in other games in the franchise, you have the choice between different classes, each of which has particular equipment. Battlefield Mobile Alpha offers 4 types: Assault, Engineer, Scout and Support.
You can customize your gear, from selecting your weapons to choosing skins and accessories. Unlike the console versions, you have to use in-game currency to buy this equipment.
For the moment, 4 game modes are available in the Battlefield Mobile Alpha:
- Team Deathmatch 16 to 16 or 8 to 8;
- Conquest : capturing flags;
- Rush : zone control.
Test of a successful mobile adaptation, but perfectible
Battlefield takes hold of its new medium brilliantly and borrows the codes of mobile games. We therefore find quests daily and weekly, events and a Battle pass. However, only quests are available in this alpha version of Battlefield Mobile.
Among the major problems encountered during the test, two stand out strongly and significantly degrade the gaming experience. First, it is almost cannot join a game when it starts. Most often, the score is already well advanced and it is complicated to get into the game.
This concern may be related to the second problem: the connection loss. About every other game, all players freeze in place and we are sent back to the main menu.
Hopefully these inconveniences are temporary and that the developers will find a solution to offer decent matchmaking and stable servers by the official release. If you also want test the alpha version of Battlefield Mobileyou can download the game on TapTap on your Android smartphone.
