Galaxy Tab S7 Lite: this is the design of Samsung’s affordable 5G tablet
The Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, Samsung’s next affordable 5G tablet, is unveiled. Several months before the official announcement, a reputable informant released the first image of the tablet. We discover a 12.4-inch screen surrounded by wide borders, a storage drawer for the S-Pen stylus and flat edges.
Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7 +, two high-end oriented 5G tablets. They stand out from the competition thanks to their Snapdragon 865+, 45W fast charging and 4 AKG speakers. The Galaxy Tab S7 +, which we tested, is also the best Android tablet on the market. Thanks to its solid technical data sheet, Samsung’s premium slate has met with colossal success, especially in South Korea.
Unsurprisingly, the Seoul giant wants to capitalize on the range. In June 2021, Samsung will announce an affordable edition of the tablet, the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite. The latest news is that this variant is powered by the SoC Snapdragon 750G, a Qualcomm chipset engraved in 8 nm, coupled with 4/6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Samsung would entrust the autonomy to a 7000 mAh battery compatible with the fast wired charging of 15W. Despite its low price, the tablet would be compatible with 5G.

This April 15, 2021, Evan Blass, famous middle leaker, released an official press release showing the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite. This is the first glimpse of the look of the device. As expected, the tablet is built around un large 12.4-inch screen surrounded by thick bezels. On the back, there is a photo block whose sensors are aligned vertically. A drawer is visible on the back to house the S-Pen.
At the same time, Samsung would also launch another even more affordable mid-range tablet, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. According to information shared by Evan Blass, the slate is covered with an 8.4-inch screen and embeds a MediaTek Helio P22T chipset.
