Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite: Samsung’s next Android tablet unveiled

Samsung will soon unveil a new Android tablet. Today we have new information on the upcoming variations. We also have his name. It will be called Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite.

In the Android tablet market, Samsung reigns supreme, in particular thanks to its very high quality Galaxy Tab S7 +. It will be available in a more affordable version. If we called it until then Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, today we learn its real name.

So, Samsung’s mid-range tablet will be called Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite. There are six variants in total: SM-T730, SM-T735, SM-T735N, SM-T736B, SM-T736N and SM-T737. These different models should be similar overall, as the changes should concern 4G, 5G, Wifi or storage compatibility.

We still know two or three things on the shelves. First of all, they would all be equipped with Bluetooth 5.0. We also mention an IPS LCD screen (not AMOLED to cushion costs) of 12.4 inches. We do not know more about the panel, especially its refresh rate. The leaks evoke a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, not very powerful but efficient, supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory at least (expandable via micro SD). Finally, the 45 Watts fast charge would be on the program as well as six colors: black, blue, pink, green and silver. Regarding the format, we should find what makes the particularity of the classic Galaxy Tab S7 +, that is to say a tablet on which you can attach a keyboard and especially compatible with the S-Pen.

As a reminder, the Galaxy Tab S7 + was released last summer. We had tested it in our columns and we had been seduced by a technically impeccable terminal. The Android tablet market has looked poorly in recent years, but has seen some recovery in 2020 and early 2021. Samsung could therefore contribute to the comeback of this format with high-end products and more affordable versions, such as this Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite.
