For years, two-factor authentication has established itself as the most effective security solution and, in fact, the most popular with manufacturers and developers. Many applications now integrate it to ensure optimal protection for their users, but some are still missing. Surprisingly, Google is still one of them, even though you would think that a payment application is keen to protect its users’ bank details.
Fortunately, that is about to change. Indeed, a banner is now visible on the official website of the application. This shows the following message: “Starting December 9, we are increasing account security by requiring two-step verification to view payment information. To ensure continued access to your payment information, set up two-step verification if you haven’t already. »
