Honor of Kings Challenger Cup and Credit Score System
The Chinese version of Arena of Valor, Honor of Kings, replaced its winter tournament with the Honor of Kings Challenger Cup 2021 last December. However, the event is still ongoing since the playoffs are currently taking place and will continue until January 15. At the same time, the famous mobile MOBA decided to integrate a new Credit Score system to anticipate toxic behavior rather than sanctioning it a posteriori.

Using Credit Score Against Toxic Players
Tencent Games introduces the gaming credit mechanics almost in the sense of social credit. Thus, Honor of Kings has set up a credit score system in which a minimum of 100 points will be required to be able to use social functions and other in-game communication systems.
This Honor of Kings Credit Score will be calculated from daily activity, contribution to other players’ banners, potential sanctions already received and items owned in-game. Announced this Thursday, this score should be as high as possible to show your quality as a player within the active community. The purpose of this system is to prevent toxic activity upstream to protect players.
And if you like the universe of Honor of Kings, an open world inspired by the license is currently in the works.
