You want play Switch games on mobile ? It was not possible until now. On the other hand, good news since skyline, the first Nintendo Switch emulator on mobile, is now available on Android. Let’s see together how to download it and which Switch games you can access with your phone.
Play Switch games on mobile with Skyline
It is already possible to play Nintendo games on mobile by through NES emulators, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 or even 3DS. However, the newer architecture of the Switch has given emulator developers a hard time.
It is therefore a feat that the Skyline team has just achieved by providing players with the first emulator that allows play Switch games on mobile. To achieve this result, they received help from the teams of Yuzu and Ryujinxthe two famous Switch game emulators on PC.
Skyline was designed specifically for android and the arrival of an iOS version is not relevant. The developers prefer to focus on the stability of this version and the depth of the catalog of compatible games.
For download skyline and play Switch games on mobile, head over to the emulator’s Discord. After accepting the server rules, type the command “.rl ftx1” in the channel bot-commands to get the link of theAPK. You will also need to be logged into a GitHub account to be able to download it.
Games available on Skyline
In development for just over a year, Skyline recently succeeded in making their first Switch games playable on Android. For now, only sonic mania and Celestial are functioning correctly.
The third game that the teams are currently working on and which should be available soon is none other than the excellent super mario odyssey, one of Nintendo’s flagship games. As of this writing, the game launches to the menu, but fails to load the game.
