HoYoWiki: the official Genshin Impact wiki

While Genshin Impact update 2.7 is long overdue, HoYoverse threw HoYoWiki, its official wiki. You will be able to find in the database a lot of information on the characters, weapons and enemies of the game. We take stock of the current and future features of Genshin Impact’s HoYoWiki.

L’MiHoYo encyclopedia competes with already existing databases such as Honey Hunter and the Genshin Impact fan-made wiki. However, it has the advantage of having been directly created by HoYoverse. However, the HoYoWiki is still in its infancy. At this time, you will not find data on quests, achievements, etc.

On the other hand, you will be able to consult a lot of information on:

• The characters : description of skills and statistics according to their level and lists of elevation materials;
• Weapons : history of the weapon, secondary attribute and necessary materials;
• Artifacts : history of the artifact and bonus conferred;
• Bestiary : you have the list of monster loot in the game;
• Teyvat specialties : upgrade scrolls, consumables, books, etc.

The HoYoWiki also allows you to make thematic research. For example, you can enter the type of weapon you are interested in (one-handed sword, polearm, bow, etc.) and the secondary attribute you want to have (ATQ%, elemental mastery, critical rate, etc. .). This will narrow your search to your needs.

The same goes with the artifacts. You can them classify according to type of bonus they assign (PV, CRIT rate, ATK%).

However, some information is still missing, such as the liabilities of the weapons or indications on the places where the various items of the RPG can be found. Also, future characters like Yelan and Shinobu (announced for Update 2.7) are not present, which is a shame. It would be interesting to know their elevation materials in order to farm them in advance.

But this is only the beginning of the Genshin Impact HoYoWiki. The database will be later open to players. This will allow you to complete the wiki. HoYoverse should soon communicate on the subject.
