iPhone 13 Pro: a stolen photo confirms the huge photo block
The iPhone 13 Pro will stand out from its predecessor, the iPhone 12 Pro, thanks to a huge photo block. As the presentation keynote approaches, a stolen photo showing protective covers for the smartphone has appeared on the web. The image emphasizes how much the camera is more imposing than the one built into current iPhones. The leak also confirms the reduction in the size of the notch.
In partnership with the blog svetapple.sk, Innocent Store, an accessories brand for Apple devices, posted a photo showing future protective cases for the iPhone 13. Based on these cases, the Polish brand calculated how the camera of the new iPhones is larger than that of its predecessors.
On the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, the two most affordable versions, the photo block will now measure 3.9 cm, compared to 3.7 cm on the iPhone 12/12 mini. On the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, two photography-oriented smartphones, the block will reach 4.5 cm, against 3.98 cm on the iPhone 12 Pro Max. This increase in block size is notably the result of the addition of an ultra-wide-angle photo sensor with autofocus.
The iPhone 13 would have a much bigger battery, up to 4352 mAh for the Pro Max
IPhone 13 notch is smaller, confirmed
In the process, Innocent Store confirms another highly anticipated design change: the notch reduction. Based on the manufacturing drawings received, the brand is able to confirm that the notch is slightly smaller than that of the iPhone 12.
As expected, Apple has revised the layout of the TrueDepth sensors necessary for the operation of Face ID in order to plan the notch. According to the brand, the notch is only 2.57 cm wide, against 3.45 cm for the iPhone 12. It is also thinner than last year’s 0.35 inches. This reduction applies to all models in the range.
Finally, Innocent Store ensures that new iPhones win 0.2 mm thick, confirming the presence of larger batteries. For the record, Apple will present the iPhone 13 in the course of September 2021. We will tell you more about the iPhone as soon as possible. While waiting for more information, feel free to give your opinion in the comments below.
