IPhone 13 Still Won’t Show Battery Percentage, Android Users Are Laughing
Despite the many improvements it brings, the iPhone 13 still does not meet a user expectation that is several years old: the display of the battery percentage. However, the notch is now smaller on newer models. However, it is possible that the smartphone offers this option in its settings.
There was something to be enthusiastic about last night during the official presentation of the iPhone 13. Apple’s new flagships land with their share of innovations : a cinematic mode and a macro lens for the photo, a better autonomy, but above all, a notch finally smaller compared to previous models. It must be said that the latter is not far from spoiling the lives of users by preventing the display of certain important information, such as the percentage of remaining battery.
So when Apple announced that the notch had been reduced on the new models, hope was in order. Finally, we could perhaps see this famous figure in the battery icon! Unfortunately, This will not be the case. At least not by default. Indeed, Xcode 13, the iPhone 13 Pro Max simulator, shows that no percentage appears on the screen. Even if the notch is thicker in height than on the previous flagships, nothing seems to explain this choice.
Apple still refuses to display the battery percentage on its iPhones
Indeed, the screen now seems to have plenty of space to display other information. So why is the percentage not present? Interestingly, this was not already the case on older iPhones. Instead, Apple was slipping an option in the settings for users who still want to keep an eye on their battery. So it’s not impossible that this option will be available in iOS 15, although no signs seem to point in this direction.

In the meantime, this affair has something make android users laugh, who can see their battery percentage anytime for years. If we add to this the mockery of Samsung concerning the 120 Hz screen of the iPhone 13 Pro, we can safely say that the rivalry between the two brands is not about to end. From here, the iPhone 13 will be available in stores September 24.
