iPhone 15: USB-C socket for everyone and periscope telephoto lens for the Pro Max, finally
Rumors are already swirling about the iPhone 15s coming out next year. A renowned expert firm has come forward to predict the changes that Apple could bring to its next generation of smartphones.
According to analyst firm TrendForce, unsurprisingly, the future range of iPhone 15 will consist of four models. Only the most expensive models, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, if the nomenclature does not change in the meantime, will be equipped with a A17 Bionic processor and 8 GB of RAM, while the base models will have the A16 for 6 GB of RAM.
The effects of the European directive on universal chargers will begin to be felt, as the new iPhone 15s will finally sport a USB-C socket. Will these models be specific to the European Union? No one knows yet, but it would be surprising if Apple offered two different products for the same model. This would increase its cost of production, and therefore reduce the profits of the apple brand.
In 2023, the iPhone 15 Pro will have a periscope with super-powerful optical zoom
According to Taiwanese analysts, owners of Pro models will be particularly pampered in the photo department: the iPhone 15 Pro Max will finally integrate the long-awaited periscope telephoto lens and will therefore have a 10x optical zoom. The main lens will consist of no less than 8 lenses, one more than on the iPhone 14 Pro. Apple will still trust Qualcomm as far as the 5G modem is concerned, knowing that the company intends to use its own circuit as soon as possible.
iPhone 14 sales are said to be weaker than expected. The fault of affordable models that cannot stand out from the Pro and Pro Max models, which are certainly more expensive, but richer in features. The situation is so gloomy that the Cupertino company has stopped producing the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus altogether. Rumor has it, however, that paradoxically, profits are up for Apple. Is the increase in the price of services and devices from the apple brand there for something? We will know more when the company announces its financial results, most likely within the week.
