The Logitech G Cloud will integrate the Android ecosystem. It will display a 7 inch 16:9 screen in Full HD quality and with an image refresh rate of 60 Hz. usual buttonswith two offset joysticks, a directional cross, the four main buttons (A, B, X and Y), two menu buttons and the two triggers.
On the hardware side, the G Cloud embeds a processor Snapdragon 720G with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, expandable via the microSD port. It’s clearly not a dream configuration, but it’s more than enough to play in cloud gaming. The only thing you need to worry about is having a good internet connection to reduce latency.
The autonomy of his 6000mAh battery is estimated at 12 hours in cloud gaming, which is pretty impressive if true. On the other hand, it weighs a little heavier than average, with almost 500 grams.
Competition for the Steam Deck?
As for content, the Logitech G Cloud provides access to Google Play Store and other Google applications, such as Chrome or YouTube, but also to cloud gaming services, such as the Nvidia GeForce Now where the Xbox Game Pass.
The upcoming arrival of the Logitech G Cloud brings a new competitor to the portable cloud gaming console market. With a price of about $350the G Cloud has a more aggressive price than the Steam Deckbut this one incorporates more efficient components.
The Logitech console will be available from October 17 2022, but only in the United States and Canada Firstly. Pre-orders are already open on the manufacturer’s website with a reduction of 50 dollars until the official release date.
