Discover it weekly recap of mobile gaming news on Android and iOS for the week of July 11 to 17, 2022! On the program this week: Saint Seiya Legends of Justice release, the beta of a monster hunting game, a T3 Arena tournament and much more to discover in this recap. It’s the beginning of summer and we’re waiting for the Gamescom for big announcements, so this week is pretty light in news.
1️⃣ Let’s start this recap with the Saint Seiya: Legends of Justice release. New Idle RPG gacha from the license, the title is made by Wanda Cinema Games. Available on Playstore and App Store, this adventure once again uses the license codes and reaches the 2 million pre-registrations for its launch. By choosing from 88 knights availableform the most powerful team possible and try to rescue the goddess Athena and challenge the twelve golden knights.
2️⃣ If you want a more monstrous epic adventure, you can turn to a new Dauntless like on mobile. After several closed test phases this year, the Yeager: Hunter Legend beta will finally open its doors to the general public before the end of July. 4️⃣ Last weekend, we were treated to the first T3 Arena Invitational tournament. Title Tap Tap All-Stars, this competition took place in the typical format of the game, in 3v3 in games of 3 minutes. With XD Entertainment in charge of the tournament, we saw 4 teams compete until the tight final played in 5 rounds which crowned the Team Aleta’s Avengers. With this, we hope that the title can begin to develop its own small esports scene.
5️⃣ To stay on the same theme, Nova Esports won the Wild Rift Icons 2022 last weekend. In final against the J-Team, Nova Esports dominated the competition after knocking out favorites Fun Plus Phoenix in play-in. As a result, you will soon be able to discover the Nova Esports skins on Wild Rift since the team wins $640,000 and the right to choose which champions will wear their colors, as is the case for the Worlds of League of Legends.

8️⃣ As for new content on games already released, we discover the new legend Smash Legends. Named Maya, this heroine is akin to Overwatch’s D-VA and joins the game as the 28th playable character. With a healthy dose of mobility, Maya charges at enemies and leaps across the field while using her bot fists to push back her opponents. You can unlock Maya in the Smash Pass once step 10 is reached. At the same time, the Summer Festival continues until August 8 and the Duo Touchdown Mode makes its official debut with a Payload to escort in 2v2.
9️⃣ 117th hero to join the ranks of Mobile Legends, Fredrinn enters the competition. As a tank and fighter, he comes across as quite broken with his HP regeneration when he deals damage and his energy stack. Damage from towers can even be turned into HP if he attacks enemy units. Fredrinn should land during the next month as it is still in development on the advanced server, but expect to see it land soon on the standard servers.
🔟 On the Industry side, Lilith Games shines its commercial strategies by exceeding the 2 billion revenue with Rise of Kingdoms since the game’s launch. In June, the company’s revenue reached $44 million. In addition to these nice figures, the historical strategy game is currently benefiting from a partnership with the show Pawn Stars in a YouTube video where Rick and Corey participate in challenges with two Rise of Kingdoms-themed YouTubers.
