New mobile game releases of the week
1️⃣ Let’s kick off this recap with the release of the highly anticipated Catalyst Black, the new MOBA shooter on mobile from Super Evil Megacorp. A breath of fresh air in the world of arena combat, the title shakes up the codes of the genre, in particular with its fully customizable armory systemits interesting approach between PvE and PvP and its ultimate transformation mechanic in Primitive.
If you haven’t already, go for it test Catalyst Black or watch our game review to find out if you might like it.
Even if we hope that Catalyst Black will take over the torch vainglory esports, Only time will tell. Either way, the potential is there.
2️⃣ In addition to Catalyst Black, Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is also out this week on Android and iOS. With his sublime aesthetic designed to take up the aesthetics of Ghibli studios on mobile, the game is an MMORPG with defined classes. To enter the virtual world of Ni No Kuni, play as the Rebel, the Hammerhead, the Witch, the Scholar or the Swordsman and go save the queen of a fantastic and dreamlike medieval kingdom. You will be accompanied in your adventures by Cluu, your flying pig with a lucky clover on the head and… from the famous automatic mode. A word of advice, avoid overdoing it if you don’t want to get tired of the magnificent world of Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds too quickly. Thereafter, the title will integrate functionalities related to the blockchain even if we do not know more for the moment.
3️⃣ After some negative feedback on its visual aspect during its first alpha, Battlefield Mobile is dressed in its 31 for the launch of its open test phase on TapTap. We have tested it for you, and it must be said that this mobile port uses the license codes very well. So choose between Scout, Support, Engineer and Assault character to engage in one of three available modes: either Deathmatch, Capture the Flag or Zone Control.
In Battlefield Mobile, you will drive many vehicles and enjoy smashing the destructible environment of the game’s large maps. Unfortunately, the servers are not very stable at this stage of development and the matchmaking will certainly push you towards parts where the score is already good advanced, which will interfere with immersion. Anyway, you can Download Battlefield Mobile now on TapTap to get your idea of this new mobile FPS, provided you play on Android.
4️⃣ Let’s take the opportunity to continue the long list of mobile announcements of the week with all the titles highlighted by the NetEase Connect 2022, a conference held this week by the publisher. first of all, Naraka: Bladepoint, which has been hanging out on our pre-registration page for months, has indeed promised testing phases soon, for a release that shouldn’t take too long. As a reminder, Naraka is a Battle Royale focused on close combat having been a great success on PC. It will be interesting to see the range of possibilities expand on mobile with Naraka: Bladepoint and its martial arts, while the Battle Royale Final Fantasy Brave Soldier had already been able to convince thanks to its mixture of hand-to-hand combat and ranged combat.
5️⃣ Announced just over a year ago, the multiplayer spy hitman titled Mission Zero finally reappears. The title of NetEase still does not offer a release date but reveals some images in a new rhythmic trailer. As I really like games with asymmetrical gameplay with a hint of betrayal or concealment, I must say that I’m quite interested in Mission Zero, even if it will probably be a while before we can test it.
6️⃣ Very mysterious, the title Once Be Human was only entitled to 30 seconds of cinematic trailer. Both intriguing and disturbing, this game from NetEase does not tell us much about its content. During the conference, we understand that Once Be Human is a post-collapse of our civilization survival gamewhere monsters wreak havoc and only next-generation humans, the Beyonders, can resist.
7️⃣ With over a million pre-registrations, there’s no doubt that Harry Potter: Magic Emerges built the hype ahead of its launch. On the occasion of NetEase Connect 2022, we discover the title global launch trailergenerally well done, but which does not tell us more about the game’s release date. The trailer only confirms that this new Harry Potter mobile game will be entitled to a worldwide launch in 2022, probably soon.
8️⃣ Easter is already behind us, but it’s not time to say goodbye to bunnies yet. In King Rabbit Race, you take part in a multiplayer race between rabbits with a daily challenge map to tryhard every day to improve your accuracy, your time, and especially your ranking. The title has been available since this week on Android and iOS at 8 euros and no microtransaction.
🔟 Zombies also exist in real life. With the announcement of Aotu World closing in April, just 6 months after its launch, we already saw the tactical combat game dead and buried. Yet he returns from the dead, revived by metaverse and blockchain necromancy asAotuverse. As China’s second most popular anime, Aotu was not about to bid farewell to its fanbase of 60 million potential players. With this step in the blockchain, the title resurrected by Catheon Gaming and MultiMetaverse makes Aotu the biggest anime license to enter the play-to-earn market. You can learn more about the game by visiting its official website.
1️⃣1️⃣ Hold on to your lootboxes, Diablo Immortal is coming June 2 on mobile and PC… but not in all European countries. So if you live in Belgium or the Netherlands, you’ve been waiting for Blizzard’s RPG for a long time and you don’t fear illegality, arm yourself with your best VPN. As has been the case for several years now, some European countries have started to apply protection laws against in-game lottery schemes, especially the lootboxes. As a result, even a major title like Diablo Immortal finds itself on the sidelines because of its use of random result chests that can be opened by purchasing keys. Blizzard does not guarantee that players using a VPN or emulator to install the game from another country will be banned, but does not promise the reverse either. So, may fate be in your favor!

On his side, Electronic Arts seems to be more than interested in the idea of being bought out, even if the opportunities so far have not met with the success expected by the company. With all the recent changes at EA on its big licenses, especially FIFA, we may be entitled to other upheavals in the future.
1️⃣8️⃣ On the esports side, With 92 points over 6 games, Attack All Around wins the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2022 Sentosa.
