Monument Valley 2 The Lost Forest, a new chapter all in green
After a long teasing of several tweets, UsTwo Games unveils The Lost Forest, the new chapter of Monument Valley 2. We reveal more about the levels added on the occasion of this update with multiple challenges. Spoiler free, this should please those looking for good practice editors.
The Lost Forest – a Monument Valley 2 chapter dedicated to trees
We thought Monument Valley 2 anchored in its eternal rest as a game with confirmed success and no longer in need of updating. Yet here he comes out of his sleep like sleeping beauty. By adding this chapter The Lost Forest in Monument Valley 2, UsTwo Games signs above all on these convictions. 4 intimate scenes freshly landed in the game on the theme of nature and forest.
Where the game usually shines by showing a fallen and lost civilization, the gaze turns to the gradual disappearance of the forest of our blue planet. With this initiative, UsTwo Games hopes to awaken in its players an awareness of the environment and encourage them to take part in the change by signing the petition Play4Forests. This new chapter is anchored in a movement of empowerment of players via their favorite medium: video games. I let you discover the The Lost Forest trailer.
This is not the first time that the studio has taken an interest in wild nature and ecological issues. Indeed, UsTwo has also created Alba: A Wildlife Adventure. This title looks at the wildlife protection of a Mediterranean island. Moreover, for each download, a tree was planted. It is therefore not surprising to see one of their greatest successes (the Monument Valley license) become up to date in order to convey their eco-responsible message to a wider audience with The Lost Forest. And lovers of the license and puzzle games mobile will only be happier! Even a little more aware of the precariousness of the flora.
Note that The Lost Forest can also be used as an appetizer while waiting for the next opus. As a reminder, Monument Valley 3 is well and truly in development within the studio. We are always on the lookout for more information on this game. So you can count on us to keep you informed in the event of a dedicated trailer or press release.
