Netmarble plans global release for Seven Knights 2
As part of its call on second half finances, Netmarble revealed it plans a global release for Seven Knights 2. The game has only been available in Korea, Vietnam and China as of November 2020 and has yet to make its way to other countries or continents. What’s more, Netmarble Nexus, also in charge of Seven Knights Revolution (exclusive to Japan and Korea), carries out its development to ensure the consistency of the different titles in form and substance.
High-end gameplay and graphics for Seven Knights 2
Since its beta in 2018, Seven Knights 2 has been able to deliver excellent graphics and interesting gameplay to the Asian market. For information, the game was created on theUnreal Engine 4, the game engine from Epic Games. The game takes the story of the first opus 30 years later and appropriates its style of play by skilfully mixing raids, cutscenes, missions and PvP battles. On the mechanical side, you can play as one of the four characters of our team at the same time. As soon as we change, the AI takes charge of regaining control over the other three members of the group. The Seven Knights titles are more in the category of strategy RPG mobile games with a PvP focus.
The first title in the series released on mobile counts no less than 10 million downloads on the Playstore. In addition, Netmarble has gained ground since this release which begins to date with large licenses like Blade & Soul. So we can only hope that Seven Knights 2 finds its audience in Europe and the rest of the world.
Seven Knights 2 does not currently benefit from a release date. However, this global release should take place in the second half of 2021, i.e. before the end of December. As a bonus to this announcement, we can find the schedule of releases planned by Netmarble with the lineup of its upcoming games.
