Nothing prepares a Bluetooth speaker that could be released before the Nothing Phone 2
After smartphones and headphones, Carl Pei, the founding president of Nothing, is interested in speakers. A Twitter member named Kuba Wojciechowski posted the render of what appears to be a portable Bluetooth speaker.
Nothing is a young company, which is why it has few products in its catalog. The brand’s emblematic device is the Nothing Phone (1), an Android smartphone full of qualities that stands out from the crowd. Rumor has it that the Chinese brand is about to unveil a portable Bluetooth speaker. Nobody expects anything on the pitch already saturated with audio.
From the Devialet Mania, to the IKEA Vappeby multifunction lamp, audiophiles and sound lovers on the go are spoiled for choice. However, a Twitter user created a render of the Nothing speaker, and one thing is certain: its design stands out from the crowd. An angular case, buttons accessible on the edge of the device, including a single red one and the Nothing logo placed in a sphere on the front, no doubt, we recognize the brand’s original “paw”.
Nothing would prepare a Bluetooth speaker in collaboration with Teenage Engineering
Is the device, like the Nothing Ear (1), designed in collaboration with Teenage Engineering? In any case, this is what the sober, refined and distinctive design of the Swedish brand suggests. The image posted on Twitter does not give a good idea of the dimensions of the product, but we see that the Nothing speaker (for lack of another name for the moment) has two gray speakers responsible for restoring the bass. They occupy a large part of the facade, while two circular tweeters are arranged on either side of the brand logo.
No information has filtered as to a release date for the Nothing speakers, nor even in relation to their price. Nothing’s news is mainly made up of the release of its second smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2), which we should see arriving in stores during the third quarter of 2023. It will probably be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a guarantee of performance both Qualcomm’s chip racks up praise.
