Nunu and Brand LoL: Wild Rift land on fire and frost

Does a song of ice and fire ring a bell? We don’t mean Game of Thrones and dragons though, but another equally fantastic universe. LoL: Wild Rift continues its journey and, little by little, the mobile version of the famous MOBA is filling up. The Fire and Frost event currently taking place (September 9-22) will be an opportunity to discover two new colorful characters. Nunu and Brand Wild Rift arrive in the Rift and promise to make sparks.

Who says event, necessarily says missions to fill in and shop special full of gifts!

Nunu and Brand Wild Rift, what profiles for the two new champions?

While originally there were only about forty champions available, we are now almost in our sixties! With Nunu and Brand Wild Rift, it was difficult to do more opposite. The two champions have absolutely nothing to do. But this is rather good news since, in order to please the community, the game needs diversity.

• Nunu : we actually have to talk about Nunu (the boy) & Willump (the Yeti) but for the sake of speed we usually forget the second. This champion should easily find his place in the jungle where he should be particularly easy to play, even for beginners. It is characterized by its ability to quickly kill neutral monsters while regenerating. Naturally solid, he easily takes blows and plays the role of a tank.
• Brand : Like the majority of mages, he is fragile but inflicts a lot of damage. This is all the more true for him, since he inflicts area damage with his powerful skills. Since more is always needed, it also burns its enemies over time.

Fire and Frost Missions and Shop

The Fire and Frost event will give you the opportunity to complete missions (3 missions maximum per day). These will give you special tokens to spend in the event store. By this means, you will be able to obtain nice rewards (emotes, icons, postures, blue particles…). But above all, these tokens will give you the opportunity to unlock for free Nunu and Brand Wild Rift.

To do this, it will be necessary to bring together 300 tokens for each of the champions. Knowing that a mission will give you between 25 and 55 tokens, it seems playable. For the bravest who manage to complete all the tasks, Riot Games will offer you a special icon border.
