OnePlus Pad: the manufacturer’s first tablet arrives in France on April 10, it’s official
OnePlus is preparing to launch its first tablet in just a few weeks, and we now know when it will arrive on the French market. Its price has still not been communicated.
During the official announcement of the OnePlus Pad at the beginning of last month, the Chinese manufacturer had indicated that the device would be launched with us in April, without further details. OnePlus has now announced a more precise date: April 10, 2023. It is on this date that pre-orders for its first tablet will begin, but we do not know when deliveries will begin.
Its price is still unknown for the moment, and since it is its first device in this category, it is difficult to make an estimate of the price at which it could arrive. What we do know is that it will target the mid-range segment. What technical characteristics for the OnePlus Pad?
The OnePlus Pad promises to be more powerful than many of its rivals, thanks in particular to a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. It is not the latest chip from the manufacturer, but it will still allow the tablet to enjoy high performance. By opting for a MediaTek chip rather than Qualcomm, OnePlus may hope to reduce the final price of the device, which is ultimately not bad news. The chip is supported by 8 or 12 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The tablet has a 11.61-inch 2800 x 2000 pixel Dolby Vision LCD display in 7:5 format. On the program, thin edges of 6.54 mm, an 88% screen / body ratio, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a brightness of 500 nits, a color depth 10 bits and a contrast of 1500: 1.
The OnePlus Pad will be powered by a generous 9510 mAh battery, compatible with 67W fast charging. Photo level, the device will bet on a single 13 MP sensor on the back, and an 8 MP camera on the front. Note that only one color will be offered: Star Orbit. It now remains to be seen at what price.
