Release of Descenders: the extreme mountain bike game comes to mobile
Put on your helmet and get on your bike with the Descenders released on iOS and Android. Extreme sports enthusiasts can now enjoy the game of No More Robots on mobile. Let’s find out together what this downhill mountain biking roguelike has in store for us.
The release of Descenders on Android and iOS
The Descenders release on Android and iOS comes three years after that on PC and consoles. If the original version was developed by the RageSquid studio, the publisher No More Robots called on Noodlecake for the mobile port.
As a reminder, Descenders is a mountain biking downhill game whose paths are generated in a way procedurallike a roguelike.
Each part is therefore totally unique. Here, it is impossible to replay a track to learn the smallest details and improve its score. In Descenders, your instincts prevail and your adaptability is put to the test.
Although the routes are all different, a reputation ranking allows players to compete against each other to earn rewards. Choose to join the Arboreal, Enemy or Kinetic team, and defend your colors with your teammates.
The Descenders released on iOS and Android adapts the gameplay of the original version with the materialization of two joysticks to allow precise control of all your pilot’s movements.
Indeed, although reaching the end of the course without falling is already a first success, it is the performing tricks which allows you to earn as many points as possible.
The faster your bike, the more points you score with your tricks. It’s up to you to take risks achieve the highest score while completing the course. A little adaptation time will be necessary to take in hand all the subtleties of the gameplay, but the margin of progress will be even greater.
That’s all for the Descenders release. The game is available on Android and iOS for the price of €11.99, which is about half the price of the Steam version. To stay informed of all releases, I invite you to consult our new mobile games page.
