Release of Rebel Riders on TapTap, the new game from King studio
King, the studio behind Candy Crush Saga and its countless variations, innovates with the Rebel Riders release. So rev up the engines and get ready to take on players from around the world behind the wheel of your destructive cars. We reveal our first impressions of Rebel Riders.
Explosions and vehicles
With the Rebel Riders releaseKing radically changes the style of play. Exit strategy and place combat in this game which offers PvP confrontations in the spirit of Brawl Stars, with the difference that the heroes are replaced by vehicles.
Each vehicle has its own characteristics. If some are slow, but hit their targets at long range like the Boomerothers will be faster and more maneuverable, but only attack in melee like the Lazer-Strike.
By completing daily and weekly missions, such as eliminating 10 enemies with a specific vehicle or winning two matches in a game mode, you earn points and money to improve your vehicles. You can also unlock different pilotsbut this choice has no influence on gameplay.
The game modes available at the release of Rebel Riders
Among the different game modes present at the Rebel Riders releasewe were able to test:
- Team Deathmatch : The first team to 10 eliminations wins the game.
- Collect the cash : The first team to bring 10 coins to their base wins the game.
- toy battle : 10 players compete in a Battle Royale until there is only one survivor left.

If the game modes do not change, there is a daily card rotation. From what we have been able to observe, all are located at New Yorksuch as Under the Manhattan Bridge, South Bronx, Lower East Gardens or Lower East Rooftops.
Rebel Riders is currently only available in certain regions of the world, however, you can still download it from TapTap if you don’t want to wait for the official release on iOS and Android.
That’s it for our first impressions of the Rebel Riders release. We are pleasantly surprised by this easy to pick up game with dynamic gameplay. It’s all the more surprising from King, who successfully steps out of his comfort zone for the first time. Hopefully the title will benefit from regular updates to add new content, but this title is very promising.
