The release of The Eminence in Shadow RPG, the gacha from the anime
Before telling you about the release of The Eminence in Shadow RPG on iOS and Android, let’s quickly go back to the origin of the franchise. The Eminence in Shadow is a light novel series by Daisuke Aizawa, published in 2018 and quickly adapted into manga with drawings by Anri Sakano.
Since October 2022, fans of the license can enjoy the anime debut with ten episodes already aired. It is therefore in parallel with the launch of the anime that the worldwide release of The Eminence in Shadow on mobile, except for Belgium, the Netherlands and East Asia.
The title has a screenplay supervised by the author original and will be regularly updated, as new characters will be added after each new episode of the anime airs.
Beautiful, resource-intensive graphics
Now on to our first impressions of the release of The Eminence in Shadow RPG. The gameplay of the fights is rather classic, but we note all the same the side view dynamism which emphasizes the hitting animations more than the more distant views usually found in gacha.
There are also many quality cinematics to develop the story or during the special skills of your heroes.
However, the graphical quality of the anime’s visuals has a knock that results in a 4gb download when the game is launched, as well as in-game slowdowns which make you lose fluidity, unless you lower the graphics settings and risk degrading the visual rendering.
Like many gacha RPGs, The Eminence in Shadow RPG is synonymous with launch rewards. Among these welcome gifts are 4,000 gems thanks to 400,000 pre-registrations.
You can also recover by completing Challenge Missions or in Login Bonuses. Finally, completing the beginner’s missions will allow you to earn 10 summon tickets as well as a character S.S. Pink.
So much for our first impressions of the release of The Eminence in Shadow RPG on Android and iOS. PC players will have to wait a little longer to take advantage of the Crunchyroll title, which should arrive sometime next year.
