Samsung to launch Galaxy Tab S7 FE, affordable 5G tablet
Samsung is about to launch the Galaxy Tab S7 FE, a new mid-range tablet. Compatible with 5G, the tactile slate would enrich an offer already made up of several models, including the future Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, the Tab S7 XL Lite and the Tab S7 / S7 +. Here is the first information on the technical sheet.
Samsung is preparing to bring a host of new Android tablets to the market. Leaks recently lifted the veil on the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite and Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite. These are cheaper versions of the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7 + launched last year.
According to information relayed by our colleagues from MySmartPrice, Samsung will continue toenrich its catalog of Android tablets with a model titled “Galaxy Tab S7 FE”. The tactile slate first appeared in the database of Google Play Console, the platform for developers to publish an Android app. Recently, Play Console had already revealed the arrival of a Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, an entry-level tablet from Samsung.
A 10,090 mAh battery for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE
The manufacturer therefore takes the name FE for Fan Edition. The Seoul giant has already launched a smartphone using this terminology last year, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE). According to the leaks, Samsung is also preparing to market a Galaxy S21 FE, intended to succeed the 2020 module, in August 2021.
Google Play Console database reveals several key points of the technical sheet. The Android tablet is visibly powered by a 10.090 mAh battery, like the Tab S7 + marketed since 2020. Compatible with 5G, the tablet embeds SoC Snapdragon 750G from Qualcomm, an Adreno 619 GPU, 4 GB of RAM and a screen with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels.
Finally, it will be compatible with the S-Pen stylus. Looking at the datasheet, the S7 FE might be the real name of the S7 XL Lite, which we told you about last week. We will find out in the coming weeks. Samsung is expected to unveil its new tablets in early June to come.
