TFT patch 12.12: the first update of set 7
Two weeks after the release of set 7, the TFT patch 12.12 comes to bring many balances. This is common at the start of a set, some TFT compositions stand out and are played in all games. Let’s take a look at the changes to traits, champions, items, and Augments.
TFT patch 12.12: the main changes of set 7
As always, the details of the TFT patch 12.12 were revealed to us on the YouTube channel of Stephen Mortimer alias Mortdog, the lead designer of TFT.
The main observation of these first two weeks of set 7 on the live servers is theomnipresence of reroll compounds. These compositions aim to quickly pass champions in 3 stars like Nidalee, Ezreal or Sett for the units of cost 1, but also Illaoi, Varus, Olaf or Diana for the characters of cost 3.
If you’ve played a bit during these first two weeks of TFT set 7, you’ve probably come across the best TFT comp in the current meta: Fighter / Scalebreaker with Olaf and Diana. To counter this, both champions and their traits have been drastically penalized.
The class Legendtoo little used according to the developers, is improved as are two of its units: Volibear and Anivia. The Furywing trait also benefits from a significant buff which should arouse interest in these champions. The line Lightscalemeanwhile, has undergone a complete overhaul that will reduce its effectiveness, while Corky will regain strength with her skill rework and trait buff Gunner.
In total, 30 champions and 16 traits have been buffed or nerfed. As much as it risks completely upsetting the TFT meta. But let’s see in detail the TFT patch 12.12 changes.

While wearing a shield, the range of his spell is increased and enemies hit receive an increase in their mana cost. His mana has been reduced from 50/100 to 60/120, his spell damage from 150/225/350 to 100/150/200 and his shield from 700/750/800 to 300/350/400, but can now be stacked . |
