TFT Patch 12.13: All Set 7 Meta Changes
After patch 12.12b came to correct an insufficient patch 12.12, today is the patch 12.13 launch on TFT live servers. Among the changes brought by this update, we note a shortening of the game time, nerfs to many carries as well as modifications to the majority of dragons. We go back in detail to the buffs, nerfs and adjustments to traits, champions, augments, but also items.
TFT patch 12.13: game system changes
In order to reduce the duration of TFT games on patch 12.13, the rounds of Augments as well as that of the precious dragon and this one which follows are reduced by 10 seconds. In the same vein, the damage of players at stage 8 is increased by 150.
The mode Double Up welcomes several changes. They mainly concern the carousel with a modification of the order of selection as well as its display on the scoreboard. Finally, canceling the reinforcements immediately closes the portal without the animation ending.
TFT patch 12.13: trait changes
Regarding TFT traits, this patch 12.13 of set 7 supports the changes from previous updates. Thus, the killers and the Pyrotechnicians inflict less damage, while Gunners and the Cosmics gain explosion damage and power boost respectively. The Dragon Rider’s Miamsy is also undergoing changes and the Guild trait can now go up to 7 champions.

With this TFT patch 12.13several strong champions in the TFT meta of set 7 suffer a attack speed nerf, like Xayah, Swain, Varus or Corki. On the dragon side, the spells of Shi Oh Yu and Sy’fen are much less impactful, while Shyvana and Aurelion Sol benefit from modifications that could make them very interesting to play.

Champion Adjustments
TFT patch 12.13: changes to Augments
Few major changes for TFT Augments in this patch 12.13. However, there is a radical change in the functioning of Ricochet as well as the March of Progress experience boost. Another adjustment avoids the abuse of certain players since the optimization blue battery can no longer stack with the Blue Buff item, which was providing way too much mana.

TFT patch 12.13: item changes
To end with changes to TFT with patch 12.13, the Cosmic Emblem was simply removed from the game, as the item was too strong. Too little played compared to the Warmog Armor or the Solar Cloak, the Bramble Armor now provides more resistance. Finally, the Zz’Rot Portal bug with Assassins has been fixed.
Item buffs
Items | Patch 12.13 TFT Item Buffs |
---|---|
bramble armor |

Zz’Rot Portal |

That’s all for the TFT patch 12.13 changes. Hopefully after the previous two patches which didn’t really change the TFT meta, this one will allow more variety in the choice of comps. For more tips on the game, I redirect you to our TFT tips section.
