TFT patch 12.23: the new features of set 8
After two weeks on the PBE, set 8 finally hits the live servers with the TFT patch 12.23. To help you understand the new in set 8let’s discover together the changes to the game system, the new traits and champions, as well as the arrival of the heroic Augments which will upset the meta of TFT.

In total, there are 118 heroic optimizations, which are added to the 100 classic optimizations and to the 63 Trait Augments to further diversify the playable compositions and make the games unique.
The Precious Dragon is leaving TFT with patch 12.23, but the developers have decided to keep the item choices available to players with the object anvils. The latter, which appear in rounds 4-7, 5-7 and 6-7, give you the choice between three items. In rare cases, item anvils may offer Ornn items or come with a Tome of Emblems.
TFT patch 12.23: the new traits and champions of set 8
With patch 12.23, TFT welcomes many new traits, like Aurochs, Animal section Where hackerwhile others like are making a comeback with a few changes.
Thus, if the line Brawler always brings additional HP to its champions, this bonus is now a percentage, which reinforces its effect in the end of the game. The same for the line Guardian of the starswhich is now only reserved for Soraka and becomes a synergy that grants a mana bonus of up to 9 champions.
