The AirPods 3 would be presented in September with the iPhone 13

The site close to the production plants argues that some of the components of the AirPods 3 are said to be already in the process of being manufactured on a small scale. Mass production would start in August, coinciding with a September release.

As for the novelties, we will be in the field of technical improvement. The format will not change, since we will always have the headphones with a charging box (after all, why change this formula?). However, the AirPods 3 would have the right to a new design close to AirPods Pro, but without the silicone tip. The case, it would be thinner than the previous models.
