The events of December in Pokémon GO not to be missed

Calendar of December events on Pokémon GO, major dates

To end the year on a high note, several opportunities and game mechanics are available to you to capture rare Pokémon and valuable to add to your superb Pokédex collection. From the most legendary to the shiny, recap of the capture opportunities during these December events.

Legendary Pokémon GO raids

It’s the great return of the legendary Pokémon of the Black and White versions! Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem will therefore be present in the legendary 5-star Raids and for the first time potentially in shiny version.

We recommend a minimum of 5 people to face them as well as Pokémon of Fairy type to counter their Dragon type or even the Roche type which will be effective against each of their respective type.

• From Wednesday December 1 to Thursday December 16: Reshiram and Zekrom
• From Thursday December 16 to Friday December 31: Kyurem

Mega-raids in Pokémon GO

Mega-Steelix will make its first appearance in Pokémon GO and will be followed by Mega-Blizzaroi. You will have to fight them in mega-raid events in order to obtain mega-energy and to be able to make them mega-evolve.

• Wednesday December 1 to Thursday December 23: Méga-Steelix
• Thursday December 23 to Friday January 7: Mega-Blizzaroi

Featured Pokémon Hours

Every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., you will have the opportunity to enjoy a featured and available Pokémon in shiny version as well as a temporary bonus.

• Tuesday December 14, 2021: Magmar + Evolution PX × 2
• Tuesday, December 21, 2021: Blizzi + Capture PX × 2

This month is the much appreciated Solochi which will act as a lot after you have completed your 7 daily buffers. You will have by this means more probability ofacquire its chromatic version.

The great Community Day of December 2021 which brings together all Pokémon from previous editions of the Year gives you the opportunity to complete your Pokédex and catch up on previous events that you might have missed!

Other Pokémon Go events of the month

The event Descent of Dragospire, not yet detailed and inspired by the Unys Dragospire tower, is planned from Tuesday 7 December to Sunday 12 December. Get ready !

Winter celebrations are back from Thursday December 16 to Friday December 31 with the appearance of costumed Pokémon, Cadoizo as Santa Claus and much more. A box containing a Remote Raid Pass and other items will be available in the Shop for 1 PokéCoin.
