Awaited by HoYoverse fans since 2021, the latest beta of Honkai: Star Rail on PC and mobile has just been announced on the official Twitter account of the game. Let’s go back together on what we know about this title and find out how to register for the chance to test Honkai: Star Rail in preview.
A final beta phase before the release
After a first test phase in 2021, then a second beta in April 2022, the latest beta phase of Honkai: Star Rail on iOS, Android and PC has just been announced at the start of 2023. Before explaining when and how to register to participate in this test phase, let’s do a little reminder of the information revealed about the game.
Honkai: Star Rail is the next Mobile and PC RPG from the Hoyoverse studio, which is also the fourth opus of the Honkai license after Honkai Impact 3rd. If you do not know the HoYoverse studio, it is neither more nor less the creator of the very popular Genshin Impact.
Between the many gameplay videos which have already leaked from the various test phases and the content available on the game’s YouTube channel, we already know what Honkai: Star Rail will look like on PC, iOS and Android.
The title is intended as ambitious as Genshin Impact and indeed borrows many of its gameplay elements and art direction. However, for Honkai: Star Rail, Hoyoverse incorporates a different combat system and scales back fantasy sliders to steer towards a universe that ventures into the science fiction and the steampunk.
On the editorial side, our test of Honkai: Star Rail at Gamescom 2022 pleasantly surprised us with the fluidity of animations and the transposition of the graphic paw of Hoyoverse in a new universe. On the other hand, we had experienced very long loading times and we hope that this problem has been resolved since last August.
How to register for Honkai Star Rail beta?
Now that you know what to expect with this new RPG from Hoyoverse, let’s see how to take part in the test. To register for the latest beta of Honkai: Star Rail before the launch of the game, go to the official website and create a Hoyoverse account if you don’t already have one.
From the January 24, 2023a form will be available on the home page of the site, and all you have to do is complete it to validate your registration. You will only have to hope to be one of the lucky ones by being selected to participate in the test phase and discover the game before the official release.
