Hide & Seek game mode released in Among Us
It is during the ceremony of Game Awards 2022 that Innersloth unveiled the trailer for new Hide n Seek game mode in Among Us. A Hide and Seek game mode was already available in the game via an unofficial mod, just like the Cupid, Sheriff or Town of Us modes. Nevertheless, if the studio kept the name of the famous child’s game, the rules of parts are quite different.
Indeed, where the imposters are hidden among the crewmates in the standard games of Among Us, they will be identifiable at first glance in Hide n Seek since he walks around with his mouth wide open, revealing their sharp teeth and their tongue which is agitated in all directions. On the other hand, as in the main mode, the objective of the imposters is to kill all the innocent to achieve victory.
On the side of crewmatesthe goal is to achieve complete their tasks while avoiding the path of imposters. For this, the visual advantage is reversed in the games of Hide n Seek in Among Us, with the innocents being granted a more wide range of vision than their pursuers.
Additionally, innocent crew members can now use events of the map, such as gates or communications to curb imposters in their cold-blooded slaughter.
