The new Pokémon Unite map announced in a trailer
While Tyranitar has just joined the MOBA fighters of the Pokémon universe, the parties will soon be turned upside down by the arrival of a new map in Pokémon Unite. Let’s see together what changes this new game environment will bring.
The trailer for the new Pokémon Unite map
It was during the opening ceremony of the Pokemon World Championships 2022 that we were able to discover the trailer of the new pokemon unite map. Named Theia Sky Ruins, this new map has, unsurprisingly, the same shape as the previous one. On the other hand, the neutral monsters it welcomes are radically different.
We have no further information regarding these neutral objectives. However, the trailer reveals the presence of Celebi, Sapereau and Altaria in the jungle, but also that of Rayquaza, the mascot of Pokémon Emerald. This pokemon Dragon and Flight Gen 3 will take center stage on the new Pokémon Unite map, replacing Zap, but we don’t know what bonus it will provide to the team that defeats it.
A temporary map change?
Currently, it is on the Stade Outremer map that players compete in ranked games. From September 2, 2022, this will be replaced by the new map of Pokémon Unite: Theia Sky Ruins.
If it may seem anecdotal for ordinary players, this change will completely shake up the meta for competitive gamers, who practice many hours a day on the same map. It is for this reason that it is not unthinkable to imagine that the Outremer Stadium will resume its place before the start of the new official competition season.
If rumors are to be believed, the arrival of the Theia Sky Ruins map should coincide with the start of a new cycle of release of three new Pokemon : Mew on September 2, Dodrio on September 15 and Scizor on September 25. However, this information remains to be confirmed.
That’s all for the new pokemon unite map. Only a few days left before being able to discover all the subtleties. In the meantime, I invite you to consult our Pokémon Unite tips page to progress thanks to our advice.
