The OnePlus Nord 3 features 150W fast charging, from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes!

OnePlus is about to unveil a new mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus Nord 3. The technical characteristics of the smartphone have been revealed, it would be one of the first to be equipped with 150 W fast charging.

According to the Digital Chat Station leaker on Weibo, the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus will soon include its new 150W fast charging technology that it presented during the MWC in Barcelona not in a high-end smartphone, but in a more affordable device. . Indeed, it is the direct successor of the OnePlus Nord 2, the OnePlus Nord 3, which should benefit from it.

It will not be the first smartphone to take advantage of it, since Realme has already unveiled its new GT NEO 3 with a compatible 150W battery. Nevertheless, the OnePlus Nord 3 can boast of being able to be recharged much faster than the high-end OnePlus 10 Pro, limited to 80 W.

What technical characteristics for the OnePlus Nord 3?

The OnePlus Nord 3 should be very different from its predecessor. According to information from Digital Chat Station, the smartphone will be equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus Nord 3 will not only be larger than its predecessor, which used a 6.43-inch screen, but above all, more fluid. The OnePlus Nord 2 was content with a frequency of 90 Hz.

It will be propelled by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, a less powerful version of the overpowered Dimensity 9000, but the latter should allow it to be more powerful than most of its competitors in its segment. The SoC will be supported by 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

We also learn that it will be powered by a 4500 mAh battery, which should allow the 150 W fast charge to fill to 100% in just 15 minutes. On the photo side, the smartphone will not be very different from its predecessor. We will always find the 50 MP IMX766 main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2 MP monochrome sensor and a 16 MP selfie sensor. For the moment, it is not known exactly when the Nord 3 will be presented, but it could arrive during the spring of 2022 in France.
