Wild Rift 3.0 Patch: Elemental Dragons and New Champions
After watching the full 50 minute live on the New for League of Legends in 2022, I’m a little puzzled. The quality of LoL PC and Wild Rift 3.0 (our favorite mobile MOBA at Jeumobi) is undeniable. However, this live leaves me with a bitter taste: it is almost only a question of progression rewards, premium currency and even more skins and customization options that I’ll just call cash pits. I have a little trouble with this focus on the form of the game rather than the substance, although I have no doubt that Riot has some interesting new things for the rest of its title. The section on Wild Rift remains particularly victim of this matter of money which is put on the front of the stage. Despite everything, let’s discover together the Wild Rift 3.0 patch content Who will be released on January 19, 2022, for Scaru’s birthday (our youtuber).
New Elemental Champions and Dragons
Throughout the announcement video for the Season 3 of Wild Rift in 2022, learns that League of Legends’ “original” elemental dragons (Ocean, Hellish, Mountain and Wind) will make their true debut in Summoner’s Rift.
In the same way as on LoL PC, the terrain will be modified by the type of dragon you encounter in your game. Likewise, the dragon soul will offer a boost to your team according to its element. The infernal offers you to explode your enemies while the mountain dragon will add protection and magic resistance with a powerful shield, for example. The Elder will not come into play with the Wild Rift 3.0 update but the Riot team is working on its integration into the mobile port of the license.
On the champions side, several are on the program with Wild Rift season 3:
- Sett (3.0), on lane Baron, who intends to smash his enemies against each other;
- Yuumi (3.0), this unbearable support;
- Shen (3.1), Ionia’s support tank;
- Karma (3.1), my favorite medium even though Duke hates it.
Guild vs Guild will also be making a big comeback and will be held in Ionia in Wild Rift 3.0 for the new season. Collaboration between LoL PC and mobile will still take place in 2022, but the content offered by each title will vary more. Moreover, the mobile version should be expanded with more events than last year, with less waiting time between two events. Season 3 of Wild Rift promises to be very emotional since it also opens its doors to the game’s first esport season. Among the tournament announcements, we notably discover Wild Rift Icons, a global tournament which will be held in Europe and which will see 24 teams compete this summer.
Finally, several new skins will arrive in the game: from Fizz Rabbit to Hellish Kennen through the lunar new year skins like Firecracker Teemo or Tristana. In any case, the cinematic of the Call for the LoL 2022 universe finally returns to this epic impression of League.
