Xiaomi Band 7: the box of the connected bracelet reveals all the technical sheet before the launch
Xiaomi will lift the veil tomorrow on a new connected bracelet, the Xiaomi Band 7. Before its official presentation, we already know everything about its technical sheet thanks to photos stolen from its box.
While Xiaomi is due to present tomorrow, Tuesday, May 24, 2022the successor to the Mi Band 6, the connected bracelet has already seen its box unveiled on the Weibo social network, along with all its technical characteristics. The Xiaomi Band 7 therefore no longer has any secretshere is what changes compared to the previous generation.
As previous leaks had hinted, the Xiaomi Band 7 will use a larger screen than the Mi Band 6. a 1.63 inch screen with a definition of 192 x 490 pixelscompared to 152 x 486 pixels on the previous generation.
The Xiaomi Band 7 would offer increased autonomy
Who says larger screen usually means bigger battery. Xiaomi has increased the size of the accumulator on this new generation, since the battery now goes to 180 mAh, against 125 mAh on the previous generation. We can therefore imagine that the bracelet will be more autonomous than its predecessor, although the larger screen consumes more battery.
We will also find more 100 different sports supporteda 5ATM water resistancea heart rate sensor, an SpO2 sensor which will measure blood oxygen levels and track stress and sleep.
The Xiaomi Band 7 is also equipped with the new Bluetooth 5.2 standard, which will allow it to enjoy a more stable connection with compatible devices and consume less energy. The bracelet is also equipped with a NFC chip for payments, and the XiaoAI assistant for the Chinese version. Unfortunately, we should not take advantage of Google Assistant or Alexa on the French version. Finally, the box specifies that your smartphone runs at least under Android 6.0 or iOS 10 if you want to pair the bracelet.
We will have to wait for the official presentation scheduled for tomorrow alongside the new Redmi Note 11T to find out more about the bracelet. This is probably not a revolution compared to the previous generation, but rather aa welcome development for those who wanted a larger screen. Anyway, we will unfortunately have to wait several more weeks before seeing her arrive at our house.
