Arrival of the Ultra Pokémon GO update with its Ultra-Chimeras
The 7th generation of Pokémon, still freshly landed in March, will once again be in the spotlight with the Pokémon GO Ultra update. This new content inspired by the Alola region brings a dash of the multiverse to Niantic’s hit mobile game. Let’s discover together the additions of this update.
Ultra Commando and Ultra Beast Zero in Pokémon GO
The multiverse invites itself into Pokémon GO with this Ultra update. Once again, the Alola region is the target of portals to another world and the Ultra-Chimeras use it to invade everything. In Pokémon GO, it is our real world that they invade in augmented reality, like Zeroidaka UC-01 Parasite.
Unveiled in a teaser, Zeroid is a dual Poison and Rock type Chimera. But we don’t know anything about his capture, or even if the Beast Balls will be present. Don’t expect to find a legendary raid dedicated either. On the other hand, the exploration of the real world will be altered by the portals with a new game mechanic.
In addition to this Ultra Chimera Zero, Pokémon GO receives a member of Ultra-Commando, if we are to believe the holding of the character from the back. It could be a new major enemy like Giovanni, Arlo, or Sierra with Team Rocket. However, we could also discover a new Ultra Commando Skin or an ally in the search for the Ultra Beasts.
Along with the Pokémon GO Ultra update, the Season of Go will be held between June 1 and September 1 throughout the summer. You will also be able to access online events from June 4 to 5 in addition to the Pokémon GO Fest IRL events, in Berlin for example.
So, will we finally be entitled to Beast Balls in Pokémon GO with the Ultra Update and its Ultra-Chimeras?
